District Development Monitor (DDM): Supporting Economic Corridor Development Through Strategic Planning Frameworks (May 2018—September 2018)
The District Development Monitor (DDM) was developed as a robust and dynamic real-time analytical framework tool to facilitate the Decision Support Systems (DSS) which enabled evaluation of projects across a range of critical sectors such as infrastructure, energy, transportation, logistics, water resource management and sanitization, education, health for all the 110 districts of Pakistan. The aim of DDM was to facilitate the development of targeted and region-specific policies/interventions for better economic connectivity and integration of Pakistani districts in the context of ECD as it ranked the districts based on statistical methodologies covering a range of critical indicators across infrastructure, economic, social and other variables.
