Energy Demand Mapping and Impact Assessment Survey in Chitral, Gilgit and Baltistan (Aug 2018—ongoing)
The project was conceived with the objective to conduct an impact assessment survey and to produce a dynamic, updated and robust energy map for the region of Chitral and Gilgit Baltistan. The purpose mapping is to assist in decision support system to mobilize resources and efforts according to the current energy profiling, demand and supply gaps, and forecast demand for energy for household, commercial and industrial purposes in the GB and C. The Impact Assessment survey of the micro-hydel projects (MHP) is conducted to gauge the impact of the provision of energy and the current demand and supply scenario in the region.
