Developing Rural Energy Scale Up Models (April 2019—Feb 2020)
This project is conducted to look at the feasibility of replicating pilot projects to scale to benefit other off-grid communities. It analyses completed and ongoing interventions in the RE sector by PPAF and proposes suitable delivery models for PPAF with an objective of achieving rural electrification. The study also reviewed global models of similar interventions against comparative data from PPAF implemented interventions the focus of which was the solar mini-grids installed by PPAF in Thatta, Swabi and Lakki Marwat.
